Avenue of Palms
Kilometres of date palms lining Seppeltsfield Road, planted by the Seppelt family and their workers in the 1920s and 30s — one of the Barossa's great scenic drives.
Seppeltsfield
Standing on a hillside above the Seppeltsfield estate, the Seppelt Family Mausoleum is one of the Barossa's most photographed landmarks. Built in 1927 in the style of a Greek Doric temple, it is the resting place of members of the Seppelt family, who founded Seppeltsfield in 1851.
A short walk up from Seppeltsfield Road leads to the mausoleum and wide views back over the estate's vineyards and the Avenue of Palms. Combine a visit with the cellar door and heritage buildings at Seppeltsfield nearby.

Greenock Creek Wines is situated at Seppeltsfield in the rolling hills between the hamlets of Greenock and Marananga, on the western edge of the Barossa Valley. The winery's first release was in 1988, when it sold a 1986 Shiraz and a 1988 Chardonnay from its tiny cellar door situated beneath the Waugh's 150 year old stone cottage.
